While living in Los Angeles, Eliot Lipp earned the nickname “Young Alpine” from his friends – a nod to his Northwest roots in Tacoma, Washington. His latest single Young Alpine is aptly titled, for it recalls a younger version of the artist and the music he used to make when he was just starting out.

The track is a fusion of synths, guitars, and organic samples drizzled over a laid-back groove that has been Lipp’s trademark for years. He continues to experiment with new ideas and trying out different styles, but sometimes a song like this just comes together naturally.

Young Alpine is featured on Lipp’s forthcoming full length LP Encounters, set to release on November 11th digitally and Spring 2023 on yellow vinyl via Young Heavy Souls.
