Artist Biography

CC Nobody (FKA Career Club) is the brainchild of Leah Barnett and Mark Sleeman. Founded in 2008, the evolving endeavor has held only two constants: the artists themselves and the loop pedal. Their use of distortion and repetition enables versatile sonic moments with phantom bandmates allowing Barnett and Sleeman to assume more than one role on each creation. As such, the performance of these experimental pop tunes results “…in a totally transcendent, ever-changing live experience,” (Jerilyn Jordan, Metro Times). CC Nobody pulls inspiration from the mundane, double-dog dares you to quit your job, and implores you to rent a pontoon to play a PonTune™ – CC Nobody is for every body.
